This is an extremely awesome image of the Grand Prismatic Spring in the Yellowstone National Park. Grand Prismatic Spring is the largest hot spring in the United States, and the third largest in the world. The colors are natural due to the pigmented bacteria in the microbial mats that grow around the edges of the mineral-rich water. The bacteria produce colors ranging from green to red; the amount of color in the microbial mats depends on the ratio of chlorophyll to carotenoids and on the temperature of the water which favors one bacterium over another. In the summer, the mats tend to be orange and red, whereas in the winter the mats are usually dark green. The center of the pool is sterile due to extreme heat. The vivid blend of colors and vapors are captured very well in this image making it really awesome.

This is a very good capture of the Ørstedsparken Lake in Copenhagen, Denmark. Ørstedsparken is a public park in central Copenhagen and a section of the moat now serve as an elongated lake and former bastions appear in the landscape as small hills. The park is named for the physicist Hans Christian Ørsted who is commemorated with a large monument. The reflection is looking great at dusk and the HDR processing is also quite good.

This is an awesome image by Spreng Ben of Singapore as it glows with colors on a warm summer night. The bridge, the opera, the colors and the reflection of the various colors in the Singapore river is looking amazing. And kudos to Spreng Ben for whom my respect has only been growing with time. His awesome captures and the amazing HDR processing makes all his images almost surreal. He is surely a master of night photography and some of his night photographs are amongst the best I have ever seen.
